Meet the Chatter Buddies Educational Team
Karen Carver
M.A. CCC/SLP
Karen has been a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist for 31 years and is currently a special-education administrator for one of the largest urban school districts in the Midwest. As the founder of Kids Love to Learn, a 501(c)(3), and the creator of Chatter Buddies, Karen testified before Ohio’s House Education Committee for the inclusion of SLPs as literacy intervention specialists under the state’s 3GRG. As a result, SLPs were written into the legislation. Additionally, Karen has influenced hundreds of licensed SLPs across Ohio and the country as a clinical supervisor at The Ohio State University. She is also the recipient of the Patricia C. Lindamood Clinical Leadership Excellence Award, the OSPPEAC Clinical Leadership Award, and numerous media recognitions for the Chatter Buddies Ready for Speech ‘S’ episode.
